Women’s Health & Pelvic Steaming Sessions

This offering is for those experiencing hormonal issues related to their menstrual cycle - from PMS and PMDD to fertility and conception and menopause - trauma, or simply for anyone who wishes to reconnect with their sacred wombspace. I invite you to come for an herbal steam session for your wombspace! The female reproductive organs - wombspace, yoni, or whatever you like to call it - correlates to the sacral chakra. This is our center for pleasure, creativity, and emotions. When we experience blocks here, whether they are from physical or emotional trauma, we may find ourselves feeling “stuck” in creative areas of our life, emotionally drained or overwhelmed, feeling rigid or fearful around intimacy, and of course manifest physical symptoms of hormone imbalance.

Pelvic steaming has been practiced for thousands of years by various cultures - specifically China and the Mayans. Herbal steams offer a gentle and non-invasive way to stimulate acupuncture points that cannot be otherwise reached. Steam infused with plant constituents is quickly and easily absorbed into mucosal lining, providing physical relief from various symptoms, ranging from cramps and clotting to soothing yeast infections or UTIs. Energetically, a steam session can help to release emotions and trauma held in the pelvic floor and reconnect you back into your body in a safe and intentional way. Steam sessions can act as a portal to your divine femininity, creativity, and sensuality.

Depending on your needs, we may choose the clinical path, which involves an in-depth hormonal health intake based on Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostics, or the spiritual/emotional path where we simply a sit down to assess your constitution, needs, and goals. A combination of the two is always an option as well! Regardless of your path, I will recommend a nourishing protocol and a blend of herbs for pelvic steaming based on your energetic tissue states, lifestyle, and food choices.

Pelvic steam sessions are offered in person at Four Bodies Wellness in Eliot, Maine, by appointment, and are also offered as special women’s healing events.
