The death of a loved one can be felt as an intense loss. But what if we start to reframe the “loss”? What if we start to feel the grief as a transmutation of love? What if we tend to the dead the way our ancestors tended to the dead? What if we found little ways every day to honor our grief and those who have passed to the other side of the veil?

This workshop will offer a space to discuss death & the liminal space the spirit enters in between, rituals for the newly deceased, and cultural traditions surrounding death and mourning. We will focus on grief, including somatics of where it is felt and held in the body, how it impacts the brain, and which herbs and practices can be incorporated for supporting states of grief.
